WHEAT PANCAKES This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Poe Estate in Justin, Texas in 1987. 1 cup whole wheat flour 1/2 cup raw wheat germ 2 teaspoons baking powder 1-1/2 cups milk 2 tablespoons safflower oil 1 egg beaten Combine flour, wheat germ and baking powder. Combine milk oil and egg then add to flour mixture. Combine and add to the above: Stir just to mix and let sit for 5 minutes then cook on griddle or in skillet.
