Adamis was a warlord from Laurentia. He was defeated by a group of warriors led by Hercules and exiled to the island of Tarsus for ten years. On Tarsus, Adamis befriended a dragon and began a plot to get revenge on Hercules. With his lover, Cynea, he began luring warriors to Laurentia where they were killed by the dragon, Braxus. Eventually, Hercules and Iolaus arrived but they were able to uncover Adamis' plot and turn Braxus against him. Braxus killed Adamis when he discovered that the warlord had killed his mother.
