  • Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come is an agent of the Holy Spirit and friend of the Baby Jesus with the powers to send a person's soul into the Christmas of future.
  • The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come was the disguise of Doug Chippendale, who was angry for not getting a raise at the Gotham City store he was working at.
  • Ebenezer Scrooge finds the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come the most fearsome of the spirits; he appears to Scrooge as a figure entirely muffled in a black hooded robe, except for a single gaunt hand with which he points. Although the character never speaks in the story, Scrooge understands him, usually through assumptions from his previous experiences and rhetorical questions. The Ghost's muteness and undefined features (being always covered by his robe) may also have been intended to represent the uncertainty of the future. He is notable that even in satires and parodies of the tale, this spirit nonetheless retains his original look.
  • Professor Frank N. Stein had been visited by the Ghost of Christmas Past and the Ghost of Christmas Present in an attempt to convince him to cancel work on Christmas Day. The scary third ghost appeared to Frank suddenly, giving him "quite a turn". "Yet to Come"'s vision showed that Frank's friends, Chuck D. Head and Igor, would eventually leave him, forcing him to live the rest of his life as a sad, lonely professor. When the time comes for Frank to die, it would be likely that the scientist would be sent to Hell, where the Thin Controller is waiting for revenge.
  • The Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come, also known as The Ghost of Christmas Future, is the third of the 3 spirits who haunts Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol. He is voiced by Jim Carrey, who also voices Scrooge, The Ghost of Christmas Past and The Ghost of Christmas Present. Ocasionally The Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come rides a Specture Hearse and chases Scrooge throughout London on it. One chase sequence sees Scrooge shrunk to the size of a rat after the ghost cracks his whip, creating a shockwave in doing so.
