| - Garland is a character appearing in Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box. He is the grocer of Folsense. He protected his shop with garlic just to be safe against vampires. Unfortunately, this prevents the large number of would-be customers he has from entering his shop, let alone buy anything. He loves his daughter Marina very much.

- Garland was a member of United States Colonial Marine Corps. She was part of a 31 marine platoon under the command of Captain Paget, aboard the combat ship Hasdrubal that landed on the planet Tartarus who was ambushed and murdered by the Hive Wars Predator and Cracked Tusk Predator.
- Garland is a charcter in Radiant Historia, and the King of Cygnus. Caring not for his own safety, he jumps directly into battle with his men to defend his people at the cost of his own life. Although he seems like a tough person with hard rules, in actuality, he is very kind and is always willing to listen to the opinions of people.

- Lord Garland, a member of House Tsalmoth, was the Favorite (presumably, this title means favored courtier), and fought Tortaalik's duels. He is described as being "small and sinewy", and actually a rather good fencer, in The Phoenix Guards. However, he was a tool for Seodra in her conspiracies, and obeyed her over the Emperor's commands. When Khaavren and his friends discovered these deceptions and challenged Garland directly, he immediately concluded that all was lost, and ran off into the mountains and was not heard from for five hundred years.
- He is the first villain the Warriors of Light face. He somehow managed to kidnap Princess Sara. Throughout the series, Garland has been shown as an incredibly incompetent villain. He also has an extreme fear of Forest Imps, the weakest creatures in the world (aside from Bikke's scurvy stricken pirate crew). It has been shown that the Forest Imps have been doing various things to impair Garland's goal throughout the series. The only time they succeeded was when Garland launched a slander campaign that turned everyone in Corneria against the Light Warriors.
