  • Kuruwa is a showy modern kunoichi from the Iga clan who came to Academy City chasing after Hattori Hanzou, intending to defeat him and bring him back to his clan as part of a plan to restore its prestige and stop the decline of the Iga and Hattori lines. She was defeated by Hanzou in battle, but had her life spared by the boy. After this Kuruwa remained at Academy City, mostly sticking with Hanzou and supporting him in his role of Skill-Out leader and protector of Fremea Seivelun.
