The Marzaqua was an extra-galactic species that came from the same galaxy as the Yuuzhan Vong. When the Yuuzhan Vong began their domination of the species of their galaxy, the Marzaqua fought back and drove the Yuuzhan Vong from their territory which caused the Vong to flee through the intergalactic void and arrive in the galaxy. The Marzaqua, their culture driven by honor, saw the Yuuzhan Vong as cowards who deserved to be destroyed and followed them to the galaxy. However, upon the arrival of the Yuuzhan Vong, the Marzaqua chose to wait for them to attack the Galactic Alliance and become overextended. When the Yuuzhan Vong were defeated, the Marzaqua had to attack the alliance, thus starting the Marzaqua Conquest which many believed was the most devastating war the galaxy had ever seen.
