  • To obtain the skill point Pretty Lights, the player must not destroy any snatchers during the entire level.
  • In the English-language Sega CD version, two characters masquerading as Bill and Lance appear at a Konami-themed costume party held in the Outer Heaven show pub. They are replaced by Light and Pastel from the TwinBee series in the PlayStation and Wikipedia:Sega Saturn versions. However in the same 32-bit versions of the game, an ad for a Contra film is shown on a large monitor on a building in the Altamila (Alton Plaza) shopping center.
  • Snatcher is a Criminal of speed and damage.
  • Snatchers pick out a human target and fire a quill from their tail. Getting hit by this quill would instantly incapacitate the target, allowing the Snatcher to walk up and drag the human into its stomach. The Snatcher would then deposit the human in a pod, typically in designated hive areas, where the human would mutate into a Juvie. Like most other Swarm creatures, Snatchers were armored but were susceptible to attacks aimed at their unprotected stomach.
  • The Snatcher is an insect-like creature native to Bryyo. Snatchers have a unique symbiotic relationship with the Korba: Snatchers levitate food up to the Korba to feed it; anything the Korba cannot eat will be thrown back to the Snatchers for them to eat. Samus can utilise this partnership by letting Snatchers levitate her to desired heights before dissapating them with a Bomb. They are similar to, and may even be closely related to the Scorchbugs also found on Bryyo. Snatchers are found in the Hillside Vista and Main Lift rooms.
  • Snatcher(スナッチャー) is a cyberpunk-themed graphic adventure game produced by Konami, originally released in Japan for the NEC PC-8801 and MSX 2 computer platforms in 1988. It was followed by a CD-ROM-based remake released for the PC Engine video game console in 1992, which was subsequently ported and localized into English for the Mega-CD/Sega CD in 1994. Snatcher was the second video game written and directed by Hideo Kojima, following the original Metal Gear for the MSX2. The game's story centers around an investigator named Gillian Seed, who is assigned to investigate a breed of bioroids known as "Snatchers", who are killing humans and taking their place in society. The game is known for its heavy influence from cult science fiction films such as Blade Runner, Wicked City, Akira, and The T
  • The Snatcher will usually spawn in Surface Jungles, although it is possible for it to spawn in an artificial Underground Jungle during a Blood Moon or at a normal night when the Underground Jungle isn't too far away from the surface. The Snatcher has an almost identical, albeit slightly re-colored sprite to the Man Eater, but with lowered stat values. While fighting a Snatcher, a ranged approach may be more preferred, as you can simply stand out of its range and fire arrows or bullets at it. You can use a sword to take it out, but that opens you up to more damage.
  • On June 6, 1996, a chemical weapon known as Lucifer-Alpha under development in Russia, is released into the atmosphere, resulting in the death of 80% of the Eurasian and Eastern European population which in turn results in the death of half of the world's population. The contaminated area becomes uninhabitable for a decade, when Lucifer-Alpha mutates into a non-lethal form. This tragic event later becomes known as "the Catastrophe".

It was originally released in Japan for the NEC PC-8801 and MSX2 computer platforms in 1988. A CD-ROM-based remake for the PC Engine was released in 1992, which was subsequently localized into English for the Sega/Mega-CD in 1994 in North America and Europe. The enhanced version was later ported twice more to the PlayStation and Sega Saturn in Japan.
  • Snatchers are Twisted from The 3rd Birthday. They seem to have arachnid affiliations, as they look like spiders and they appear upside down, while hanging on the ceilings. One of the Snatchers' most annoying attacks are the constant barrage of black spikes, as well as firing two black orbs in front of an opponent, which will explode in black sharp spikes after a short while. Another attack is blinding the screen, which shouldn't be a problem unless there are Rollers or other enemies in the vicinity. They can drop to the floor and home in to Aya or a soldier and then start a barrage of hits. While on the ground they can also curl their legs into a sphere-like shape and start rolling around while damaging nearby opponents. But maybe the worst attack they can perform is to drop from the ceili
  • Snatcher is a cyberpunk-themed adventure game. It has gained a small cult following due to its mature storytelling, adult themes and, in later versions, voice acting. It was heavily influenced by various sci-fi and noir films, especially Blade Runner. It later got a radio drama in 2011, titled Suda51's SDatcher. It was produced by Kojima Productions, and Kojima himself acted as the project's drama planner.
