Zkrim (Bottomjaw: Barbarism) is the name given by the Bottomjaw Empire to the city Akso Kai (Zkrimish: "Elephant City"), the capital of the Kingdom of the Elephant Heads. The Headsmen are people who worship elephants, wearing their skulls and hides, living in their ribcages, and building great statues in their likeness. Among them, some are even born with the hands, and feet of elephants, and are treated as gods. The Headsmen are darker-skinned than most of their fareastern brethren. Akso Kai is a city of temples, and huts, built in a green river valley, which snakes along the River Axoxayeer, itself floating away from the Worshipped Plateau (also known as Elephant's Grave, and the Stomping Lands).
