Though Vaul buildings do not rely on Psi-fields as much as the Protoss, Diodes are necessary for to prevent their own Self-destruct mechanisms damaging their own forces. Because of this risk, it was necessary to install Phase Shift technology to prevent chain reactions (Stargate -SG1: Dimension shifting). While this makes Diodes prime targets, Firewalls can be used to augment defenses until a suitable force can be mounted to push back or destroy invading enemies. Special abilities:
