Fleischer would return to Walt Disney Studios much later to film the science fiction comedy Real Genius, a Disney Channel Original Movie where he plays a role somewhat akin to the Doc/Marty relationship. Fleischer played a physics professor who acted as mentor to an intelligent boy who both worked to find a way to make an anti-gravity device operational. From 2001 to 2002, Fleischer made guest appearances in the 2nd and 3rd season of 100 Deed For Eddie McDowd with one as a character Dr. Silver. The other 3 were voice overs. The episodes included Season 2-3 regular Jason Hervey voicing the title character.
