| - Tom Curry is a lighthouse keeper in Maine, and the father of Aquaman. His wife is Atlanna, the Queen of Atlantis. His second wife Mary O'Sullivan gives him another child who later becomes the villainous Ocean Master. In some stories Post-Crisis, the wizard Atlan is Aquaman's real father and bachelor Curry only takes him in as a young adult. In addition to instructing the child through the ways of the surface world, he is also his grounding in humanity. The Golden Age Aquaman from Earth-Two was given his powers by his scientist father, but the real name of this Aquaman was never revealed and his father's name is also unknown. Tom Curry was created by Robert Bernstein and Lee Elias, first appearing in .
