  • Hurricane Katrina was the costliest and one of the deadliest hurricanes in the history of the United States. It was the sixth-strongest Atlantic hurricane ever recorded and the third-strongest hurricane on record that made landfall in the United States. Katrina formed on August 23 during the 2005 Atlantic hurricane season and caused devastation along much of the north-central Gulf Coast of the United States. Most notable in media coverage were the catastrophic effects on the city of New Orleans, Louisiana and in coastal Mississippi. Due to its sheer size, Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast as far as 100 miles (160 km) from the storm's center. Katrina was the eleventh tropical storm, fifth hurricane, third major hurricane, and second Category 5 hurricane of the 2005 Atlantic season.
  • Hurricane Katrina was a hurricane on Earth, infamous for its deadly landfall and aftermath. When he was transported uptime to 2270, Shaun Christopher compared the destruction and death about to be brought on Skagway to that brought by Katrina. (TOS novel: The Rings of Time)
  • Katrina was a natural disaster which took our nation by storm, destroying much of the Gulf Coast, and almost totally destroying New Orleans and its surrounding cities or parishes or whatever those illiterate poverty stricken, french speaking darkies call their towns.
  • Its effects were seen throughout the Storm Force mission, set in New Orleans.

  • George W. Bush had only been re-elected for five minutes when people started making fun of him again for the Iraq War. Bush was so fed up with other people getting credit for the 9/11 Conspiracy that he set out to create a catastrophic disaster that was more destructive than the 9/11 attacks, the Iraq War and Miley Cyrus combined. However, he struggled with how to achieve this. In desperation, Bush prayed to the ghost of Ronald Reagan for answers. According to Bush, he was then answered when an apparition of Reagan appeared before him and commanded him to join forces with his terrorist pals in Saudi Arabia and steal a warehouse full of industrial-sized fans. Though many historians contend that Bush was not actually visited by a ghost and that he was actually just tripping balls, Bush would

Katrina devastated the coasts of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama, and even brought some damage to areas of the Florida Panhandle. Katrina also devastated New Orleans, Louisiana, which received some unrelenting hype from the media. Also, Katrina devastated the Mississippi coastline even more than the Louisiana coastline, causing catastrophic damage to towns like Biloxi, Gulfport, Ocean Springs, Waveland, Pass Christian, and Bay St. Louis, because of its storm surge, which was equivalent to that of a Category 5 hurricane, not a Category 3 hurricane, even though it was only a 3 at the time of its landfall. Katrina formed in the Bahamas on August 23, and headed west, striking southern Florida as a Category 1 hurricane. After that, Katrina entered into the Gulf of Mexico, where extremely warm water temperatures allowed it to strengthen into a Category 5 hurricane with 175 mph winds early on August 28. Katrina weakened to a Category 3 hurricane with 125 mph winds on August 29 before landfall, but still retained an enormous size, with hurricane-force winds extending 120 miles out from the center of circulation, and tropical storm-force winds extending 250 miles out from the center. Aside from its coastal effects, Katrina also caused severe wind damage well inland. Katrina killed at least 1,836 people throughout its path of destruction. This made Katrina the deadliest United States hurricane since the 1928 Okeechobee Hurricane. Katrina caused about $81.2 billion (2005 USD) in damage.
  • Scientists were not the only ones who predicted the catastrophic hurricane hitting New Orleans on the 29th August 2005. A number of prophets saw it coming, too. Prophetic teacher Rick Joyner speaks of the fact that in his movement there was a prophecy as early as 1998 that “New Orleans will look like an estuary.” On the 29th of August 2004, a year to the day before the catastrophe, Chuck Pierce (USA) prophesied this: “The Saul structure collapses, and a new demonstration with a new blueprint will be seen. This will be known as a meeting house. Wind and water will rise in the midst of New Orleans. Many from the south will come north for refuge. Prepare, prepare now for winds and water will surprise you. Shift! Saul will be no more. David will arise from this day forward. This will purify the land and bring great change. Get ready. Don’t brace yourself. Throw yourself up. Get ready, for the New is coming. Every place I blow on will shake. The wind is coming on Louisiana, and it will shake the entire state. The south, purifying wind of my Holiness will sweep across Louisiana.” (Katrina means “pure”.)

Though many historians contend that Bush was not actually visited by a ghost and that he was actually just tripping balls, Bush would nevertheless continue to follow the advice of the dead 40th president, and would successfully use it to prank the arrogant American citizenry for doubting his genius. New Orleans was chosen by the president as the prime target of the Hurricane due to the fact that it was full of two things that he despised most: Black People, and Democratic voters. He confided in his mistress Condoleezza Rice about this idea, and she readily supported him. Like always.
  • Hurricane Katrina was a punishment from God or so Fundy Christians think. Fred Phelps thanked God for it. President Bush didn't do enough to help the victims as most were poor. Hurricane Katrina made landfall at in southeast Louisiana (especially hitting New Orleans hard) on August 29, 2005. At least 1,836 people lost their lives in Hurricane Katrina and in the subsequent floods, making it the deadliest U.S. hurricane since the 1928 Okeechobee Hurricane. The storm is estimated to have been responsible for $81.2 Billion (2005 U.S. dollars) in damage, making it the costliest natural disaster in U.S. history. The catastrophic failure of the flood protection in New Orleans prompted immediate review of the Army Corps of Engineers, which has, by congressional mandate, sole responsibility for design and construction of the flood protection and levee systems. Just like with 9/11 & other disasters the blame was put on Gay People.
