Ivor Burgoyne (1926 - 2000) appeared in Coronation Street in March 1965 as a Police Inspector at Leonard Swindley's trial for driving without a licence. He also appeared in The Liars and ITV Play of the Week and both wrote and appeared in the 1975 film comedy Bedtime with Rosie. He was also a playwright and authored the bedroom farce Little Jack for his friend Harry H. Corbett.
