After songwriter John Waters (who works as a journalist) publicly complained about his 2006 Eurosong entry not being selected for the Contest, this song was chosen as a means of silencing him. As Ireland finished in the top 10 in the 2006 contest, it was pre-qualified for the final. On the night, it was performed 4th following Belarus and preceding host country Finland. At the close of voting, it finished in last place with only 5 points, a first for the country in their contest history.
