  • Practice is a mode in Metroid Prime: Federation Force which allows players to test their skills and adjust to the game's controls in a mock game of Blast Ball. Upon starting the Metroid Prime: Blast Ball demo, General Miles will ask if the player wishes to practice first or jump straight into a Blast Ball game. The rules of Blast Ball are given in Practice mode. After some time training, the option to play a full game becomes available. Practice can also be used to familiarize with the controls for the Campaign mode. Practice mode gives the player a purple ball; regular games of Blast Ball have a green ball.
  • Practice is a command that is used to either display all skills your character currently knows (when used without an argument), or to provide a list of available skills at a skill trainer. When used with an argument, it will practice that particular skill, raising it by an amount dependent on various stats.
  • "Practice" (also titled "Practice Song") is a Sesame Street song written and performed by Joe Raposo. He sings about the importance of practicing over footage of people (and kids) windsurfing in the ocean.
