Sonic detonates several land mines on the outskirts of Robotropolis so the Freedom Fighters can locate one of Robotnik's power cables and steal power for Freedom HQ. They find two identical cables and have to choose one to take. The one they choose turns out to be booby-trapped, leaving them imprisoned inside a giant force field dome with an army of SWATbots closing in. Suddenly, a Nerb emerges from a tunnel directly beneath them. Despite his bad manners, the Freedom Fighters use the tunnel to escape the force field, following it to the city of Nerberhood. "Revenge of the Nerbs" - Part Two

  • Sonic detonates several land mines on the outskirts of Robotropolis so the Freedom Fighters can locate one of Robotnik's power cables and steal power for Freedom HQ. The ruler of the Nerbs explains that constant building in the area has threatened their water and air supplies. Sonic tells him that Dr. Robotnik is the one destroying their lifelines and proposes they work together against their common enemy. The Nerb ruler refuses to provide them with any help due to his reluctance to mix with outsiders. Forced to leave, the Freedom Fighters found their way to the Mobius Sewer System. Hearing a loud noise, Sonic speeds off into the sewers to investigate. "Revenge of the Nerbs" - Part Two Sonic discovers Robotnik operating a massive digging robot in the center of a large construction project, as well as three captured Nerbs. After tricking Robotnik into destroying the force field holding them prisoner, Sonic escorts the Nerbs to the other Freedom Fighters. He asks his friends to get the Nerbs to safety and seal the sewer entrance. He races back to a door holding the Mobius River at bay, opening it and letting it flood the sewer. Sonic tunnels his way to the surface, creating a small geyser. The rest of the river's water creates a massive geyser, lifting the entire city of Robotropolis into the air. Yet another geyser sent Robotnik and his wrecked digging robot flying. The Nerbs thanked the heroes for saving them by making them honorary Nerbs.
