Gino is a papparazzi, working for the Tempo di Roma magazine, who features only in "The Castafiore Emerald". During her stay at Marlinspike, Signora Castafiore is interviewed by a television crew. Gino, whose surname is unknown, sneaks into the house to take a photograph, uninvited, of the Milanese Nightingale. When he is seen running off into the night, it is thought that he stole her jewels, until Castafiore finds them underneath a cushion.
