Laughing Octopus, additionally referred to as Laughing Beauty is a minor antagonist in the video game Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patroits. She is one of the mercenaries of the Beauty and the Beast Unit and is the first member of the group who fought and was defeated by Solid Snake, the operative they were sent to assassinate.

Neben ihren mechanischen Tentakeln stehen ihr noch 3 fliegende Mini-Bomben zur Verfügung. Zusammen mir Octopus´ Tarnfähigkeiten und ihren HAVENTROOPERS, die man Woge um Woge besiegen muss, ist es nicht einfach einen Sieg davon zu tragen. Nachdem man sie besiegt hat erhält man ihr OtaCamo-Gesichtstarnung. Damit werden die Tarnfähigkeiten erheblich verbessert. Nachdem man Laughing Octopus und Laughing Beauty besiegt hat, meldet sich zum ersten mal Drebin, der nun nach jedem Kampf gegen die B&B-Corps die Leidensgeschichte der jeweiligen B&Bs erzählt. Laughing Octopus ist eine Zusammensetzung aus Decoy Octopus (Metal Gear Solid) die parallelen der Tarnfähigkeit aufweisen, aus Solidus Snake (Metal Gear Solid 2) aufgrund der Roboter-Fangarmen und aus The Pain (Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater) da sie sehr viel Leid und Schmerz in ihrem Herzen trägt. Der Charakter wird vom Model Lyndall Jarvis dargestellt.
