Mrs. Smith is the one of the main characters in Dairy Dash. She also appeared in DinerTown Detective Agency. Prior to working in Uncle Bill's farm, she was a housewife busy with checking online stocks to the point she only asked her husband to heat up dinner in the microwave. She was initially not enthusiastic about working in the farm, but she was the first to join Mr. Smith to turn Uncle Bill's farm around. It is said she is fond of having her own vegetables grown in the farm.

- Mrs. Smith, an elderly woman who's brought into court for "soliciting favors" to her male suitors in the home for the aged where she and they reside in the Season 4 episode "A Day in the Life" (episode #15). The part of Mrs. Smith is played in the episode by Jeanette Nolan, who also appeared as Mucette Elmore, Dan's mother, who visits him in New York City with husband Daddy Bob, Dan's father (played by real-life husband John McIntire) in "Dan's Parents" in Season 2 (episode #13).
- When Anne had been sent to a girl's seminary when she was younger, she was homesick and sad, since she had recently lost her mother. Mrs. Smith, then Miss Hamilton, befriended her and helped her get over that misery. This is a major reason why Anne goes to visit Mrs. Smith while in Bath, even thought they are from different social classes. Anne knew that she would never remember Mrs. Smith with indifference.
