- Doctor Ann Darnell, better known as Vapor, is a member of the U-Foes. She is the sister of X-Ray.
- Vapors were native creatures to the planet Togoria, more specifically to the Swamp of Vapors. They were sometimes also known as a mist creature. They resembled wraith-like masses of smoke that appeared almost semi-solid and would be mistaken for fog. While amazing to view, it was dangerous for beings to approach them as the vapors were capable of entering the body of another organism and practically strangle the individual from the inside.

- Vapor's history prior to being recruited as a technical specialist for his space mission by Simon Utrecht has yet to be revealed. She, along with her brother James, was among the small group led by Utrecht to simulate the crash that gave the Fantastic Four their powers, and has remained with the U-Foes ever since. Alongside her teammates, she has had encounters with heroes including Hulk, the Avengers, Spider-Man, Crossfire, Puma, Darkhawk, and Portal. During the Acts of Vengeance, Vapor attempted to kill the Scarlet Witch.
