  • The Astral Wind is the personal vessel of Derian Tai'pek. A known smuggling ship, the heavily modified YT-1300 light freighter has held many hull designations and had it's transponder modified on numerous occasions to disguise itself in one manner or another. Despite Captain Tai'pek's desire to stay out of the realm of Galactic Politics, the Wind found herself on one side or the other of numerous conflicts. Though not involved with the Rebel Alliance directly during the Galactic Civil War, the ship was still branded a fugitive vessel in several Imperial controlled systems.
