- Mind were an award winning experimental metal band from Cambridge, England. They were formed in 2007 by 4 students and went on to achieve critical acclaim in their short career. They experimented with many musical genres, usually combining them. Lead singer Jason Smith is also known for his solo career and being a musical personality.

- The Mind (MND) stat is the stat describing a character's general sanity and ability to function mentally. It is not at all bound to the two other mental stats, which are Intelligence and Spirit - a character can have low scores in both intelligence and morale, yet be perfectly sane, or be entirely mad, yet intelligent and highly motivated - an insane wizard perhaps, or a zealot of some cult. At both very low and very high INT scores however, there is a penalty on sanity, but for average every-day individuals, no correlation exists. The MND stat is the sole determinant of a target's resistance to mind-affecting effects, such as Confusion and Berserk, but notably not against Panic, which is resisted through SPI, ie morale. Attacks that target a victim's mind reduce this stat.
