Hennington is the seneschal of Lord British in Ultima IX, who assists Lord British in administrative work. The Avatar met him after first teleporting into Castle Britannia, where he told the hero to meet the king right away. Otherwise, he was mainly complaining about the situation in Britannia. Later, when needing the Ankh of Spirituality, Hennington told the Avatar that Lord British had left for the Isle of the Avatar to battle Blackthorn, supplying the message that Blackthorn had left for the hero. During that time, Hennington complained about Lord British putting himself into danger as the king.
