Nōsei can use this technique on a larger scale to cause a swirling mass of debris that can visually impair people in a large radius. It is extremely effective in dry locations with a lot of sand or dirt. The latter use of this technique requires more chakra, but doesn't pose a greater threat to anyone caught within the wind. Actually the most damage that this technique could inflict would be the result of small amounts of debris coming in contact with a person's eyes. Nōsei's strength with this technique results from the ability to hide out of sight before striking an enemy. He appears able to maintain this technique for extended amounts of time without much effort, but a solid strike will negate the technique.

As the wind is constantly moving in this technique it nearly impossible to track a user visually. At the same time both scent and hearing is partially impeded due to the displacement of air and the sound of the wind respectively. As such it is customary that a user is able to navigate the storm in a way that doesn't require the basic senses. It is currently unknown how Nōsei can accurately target his opponent while using this technique.
