Tiery is the undertaker at the Graveyard at Empath Abbey. Meeting him in Ultima VII in the graveyard, the Avatar tried to talk with him. However, Tiery's hearing by that time was already very bad and so he misunderstood most of the questions, giving totally off-topic answers. However, with a little patience the Avatar found out that Tiery thought of the dead as his friends and his profession as undertaker as his world. He had little else, and almost never visited the nearby Empath Abbey.
