The people of Ilandia encountered the Amazons of Paradise Island at some point in their history. Their land was hidden away, in another dimension, which only had one entrance. The people of Ilandia would select special children, one out of 5,000, to be given power inducing bracelets and necklaces. When grown, these children would become Ilandia's equivilent of police officers. In 1978, a criminal called Bleaker came across the entrance to Ilandia and kidnapped a young Ilandian girl, Amadonna.
