The Razor GD-23 is an accurate New Conglomerate carbine designed to be effective at much longer ranges than its counter-parts. Compared to all the other 167 damage NC carbines, the Razor GD-23 has the slowest fire rate at 550 RPM, making it a poor choice in close quarters combat. This slow rate of fire also makes it much more controllable, as the relatively low recoil is straight up and has relatively little to no side-to-side pull, making the forward grip a less effective attachment. It also features one of, if not the, fastest reload of any primary in the game at 1.66 seconds short and 2 seconds long and the highest muzzle velocity of any NC carbine at 560 m/s.
