The 2004–05 Ottawa Senators season would have been the Ottawa Senators' franchises' 13th season in the National Hockey League, however it was cancelled due to the 2004–05 NHL lockout. The other 29 teams did not play either due to the labour dispute. __TOC__ Senators did participate with their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. Senators who joined the roster included Hasek, who only practiced with the group and Spezza, who played most of the season.
