New Hope is a fortified town and refugee camp built in late 460 HE as a replacement for the destroyed camp of Haven. It is situated two miles south of Haven along the Greenwoods River, isolated enough so that the enemy can’t use the remains of Haven as an attack base. By September in 460 HE, New Hope looks more like a fortified town than a camp, which Keladry of Mindelan, the camp's knight commander, is pleased about.

  • New Hope was a floating Jedi academy and was the former home of the Jedi Order known as Jedi Master (and at the time, the largest of its bases to date). It was based in the Kauna Isle sim. Built by Jedi Master Darth Aridian, the Academy was never formally completed due to the actions of rogue JM Master Molly Sullivan who utterly destroyed the base in her fall to the Dark Side. The Order was then forced to retreat to its former base on Cloud City which fortunately had not yet been decommissioned. Leonardis 11:20, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

abstract
  • New Hope was a floating Jedi academy and was the former home of the Jedi Order known as Jedi Master (and at the time, the largest of its bases to date). It was based in the Kauna Isle sim. Built by Jedi Master Darth Aridian, the Academy was never formally completed due to the actions of rogue JM Master Molly Sullivan who utterly destroyed the base in her fall to the Dark Side. The Order was then forced to retreat to its former base on Cloud City which fortunately had not yet been decommissioned. Interesting fact: the same plot of land later became one of the early homes of the New Order of the Jedi, where they built their version of Cloud City (not to be confused with the Jedi Master version, or the Jedi Unity base at Urbs Nebulum, or the much later Bespin inhabited by the Knights of the Potentium).
