  • Billy Bunny was the star of Billy Bunny's Animal Songs, a direct to video production from 1993. He was also seen in original footage created for the Sing-Along video, It's Not Easy Being Green, and in a Muppet Time segment. In Billy Bunny's Animal Songs, Billy sings his way through the forest as he runs across a swamp full of frogs, a cave full of rapping bears and a singing porcupine. Billy appeared in the Muppet Sing Along video It's Not Easy Being Green; Billy appeared in new material alongside Kermit the Frog and was also inserted into the song "Bar-B-Que" from Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas. Billy also appeared in a Muppet Time segment in 1994, in which he tries to join the Frog Scouts. A 1993 press release for the release of Billy Bunny's Animal Songs described Billy as: “Billy is a happy, playful, energetic bunny who loves to laugh, sing and play. He comes from a family of three brothers and sisters, 14 aunts and uncles, and 36 cousins (at last count -- they are still multiplying). He lives in a house in the forest beneath a hollow tree with his parents, brothers and sisters, who display a natural passion for carrots. Unfortunately, Billy only knows one song which he sings day and night, driving his family crazy. Billy's eagerness to learn and his natural curiosity will help him learn more songs.” Billy, or a bunny strikingly similar to Billy, appeared as "The Hare" (performed by Joey Mazzarino) in Elmo's World: Fast and Slow. The same puppet also appeared in Elmo's Christmas Countdown, during the "Carol of the Bells" number. While he was again performed by Kevin Clash, his voice, closely resembling Clash's own voice, is noticeably different from Billy's. He also appeared as one the two rabbits (the other being an altered Benny Rabbit) in the song "The Addition Expedition".
