In 7 ABY, Nayt intercepted a message from the Nationalists that said that the Galactic Republic—in reality, the Imperial Remnant—was attacking. His commanding officer, Tyno Meda, declined to help the Remnant. He and Skoti Romero, a close friend, decided to seek out Meda's old mentor, Jax Refiek and left the base for the Sutherlands. Upon arriving at the Sutherlands, he and Skoti meet with Jax, who agrees to go with them to talk to Meda.

abstract	Nayt Fillion was a male Human from the planet Voltar. A member of the Volta rebels, Nayt carried the job of intercepting Nationalist messages. In 7 ABY, Nayt intercepted a message from the Nationalists that said that the Galactic Republic—in reality, the Imperial Remnant—was attacking. His commanding officer, Tyno Meda, declined to help the Remnant. He and Skoti Romero, a close friend, decided to seek out Meda's old mentor, Jax Refiek and left the base for the Sutherlands. Upon arriving at the Sutherlands, he and Skoti meet with Jax, who agrees to go with them to talk to Meda. Upon returning, Nayt and the others find that the base had been attacked and Meda and the survivors from the Frayed Hunter had been taken to Caucasus. Nayt then devised a plan to sneak into Caucasus using Jax's truck and explosives from the base. After the plan got them in, the men disguised themselves as guards and tried to find a security office. While searching, the group was stopped by a security team that Jax took out. Upon finding a security office, Nayt hacked into the complex's database and found both the Frayed Hunter's crew and Arcia, the Krayt maiden. He then opened all the doors to the complex right before an Electronic Nullifying Pulse disabled the power. Nayt, Jax and Celeste Ial then split off to find Meda and the Imperial survivors.
