The Mustafar rifle was a blaster rifle used by the Mustafarians, and the crime organization the Phantoms bandits of Mustafar. The rifle consisted of little more than a single long barrel that was an amalgamation of a number of pipes and long metal parts. Its only distinct feature, in fact, was a carrying handle that protruded from the side of the weapon. Because of the presence of lava and volcanic ash in Mustafar's air, these rifles were usually marred with rust and sooty or scorched discoloration.

Its only distinct feature, in fact, was a carrying handle that protruded from the side of the weapon. Unlike most commonly found rifles, these did not emit laser blasts. Mustafarian skin alone is enough to disperse the heat of most blaster bolts, and the addition of armor renders lasers totally useless against them. Their rifles instead discharged kinetic energy condensed into bolts. Because of the presence of lava and volcanic ash in Mustafar's air, these rifles were usually marred with rust and sooty or scorched discoloration.
