  • Klaptraps are small Kremlings found in Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong Land, and Donkey Kong 64 as commonly found enemies in the games. They scurry quickly along the ground, jaws clapping together just waiting to bite into a Kong. They usually have a small walk cycle where they patrol back and forth along it. One well-placed jump by either Donkey or Diddy will eliminate a Klaptrap. In Donkey Kong 64, if a Klaptrap is hit, their teeth will continue to chase after the Kong but the teeth can easily be defeated by another hit or just avoiding them until they break apart.
