  • The Lone Ranger was a superhero in the the Old West. His sidekick was Tonto, a Native-American who wore no special costume, but proved invaluable to the Lone Ranger. When Sinestro was disguised as a gypsy woman, he compared Green Lantern to the Lone Ranger, and he even told him to say hello to Tonto for him.
