Jean-Louis Levasseur (born June 16, 1949), also known as Louis Levasseur, is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who played in one National Hockey League game for the Minnesota North Stars during the 1979–80 NHL season. He also spent parts of four season in the World Hockey Association (WHA) with the Minnesota Fighting Saints, Edmonton Oilers, New England Whalers, and Quebec Nordiques. In 1979 he signed as a free agent with the Minnesota North Stars and then saw action in his one and only NHL game in 1979-80. He retired in 1981 after a season with the Oklahoma City Stars.

He played for the senior Orillia Terriers and for some teams in the Eastern Hockey League prior to 1974, when he was signed as a free agent by the Minnesota Fighting Saints. In 1972-73 the Terriers won the Allan Cup Levasseur played for the Johnstown Jets until he played four games for the Saints in 1975-76. In 1976-77 he played 30 games for the Saints until he was sent to the Edmonton Oilers as part of a fire sale to raise badly needed money for the Saints. He went to the New England Whalers in 1977-78 and the Quebec Nordiques in 1978-79. In 1979 he signed as a free agent with the Minnesota North Stars and then saw action in his one and only NHL game in 1979-80. He retired in 1981 after a season with the Oklahoma City Stars.
