  • The famous painting is a painting that can be bought in all games in the Animal Crossing series. Despite being available at Crazy Redd's in both Animal Crossing and City Folk, it is a spotlight product in Wild World, and is therefore considerably cheaper. The painting is a copy of Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa. The Mona Lisa was painted by Leonardo da Vinci in the sixteenth-century in oil on a poplar panel. This painting was started in 1503 when the Italian Renaissance occurred. In 1517, Mona Lisa was completed. It portrays a half-length woman whom is often described as ambiguous. Some speculate that the woman in the painting is actually Leonardo da Vinci as how he envisioned himself as a woman. It is one of the most famous and well-known paintings. It is valued at around $700 million which makes it the most valuable painting in history.
