Ezer Bornstein was a Jewish meat butcher and a friend of Chaim Rosenzweig that lived in Jerusalem in the Left Behind books. He apparently never met Tsion Ben-Judah, as he didn't recognize him during the Battle of Armageddon. He was a rather resistant fellow to either accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior or Nicolae Carpathia as the Messiah. Accordingly he was nicknamed "The Skeptic" in the short time he appeared in "Armageddon". He hid alongside Buck and Tsion and converted along with two others in the room. Though he lost his butcher shop during the Great Tribulation, he was seen back at work at his butcher shop following Jesus' glorious appearing, with animals lined up and waiting to be butchered. He offered free meat to whoever wanted it, and paid his workers in meat as well.
