Terry Johnson (born November 28, 1958 in Calgary, Alberta) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played 285 games in the National Hockey League. He played for the Quebec Nordiques, St. Louis Blues, Calgary Flames, and Toronto Maple Leafs. He played Tier II Junior "A" for the Calgary Canucks, major junior with the Saskatoon Blades, and college hockey for the University of Calgary, all between 1975 to 1979. Undrafted by the NHL, Johnson signed as a free agent with the Quebec Nordiques in 1978 just prior to his playing for the University of Calgary.

He played for the Quebec Nordiques, St. Louis Blues, Calgary Flames, and Toronto Maple Leafs. He played Tier II Junior "A" for the Calgary Canucks, major junior with the Saskatoon Blades, and college hockey for the University of Calgary, all between 1975 to 1979. Undrafted by the NHL, Johnson signed as a free agent with the Quebec Nordiques in 1978 just prior to his playing for the University of Calgary. Johnson turned pro with the Nordiques in 1979-80 and, over four years, saw 22 games with the NHL team. Most of his time was spent in the minors. The St. Louis Blues claimed him in 1983 and he quickly became a regular for them for two-and-a-half seasons. Johnson was then traded to the Calgary Flames in February, 1986. That October he was sent to the Toronto Maple Leafs for Jim Korn. He was sent down to the Newmarket Saints in 1986-87 and also played there in 1987-88. after being called up for a brief playoff spell with the Leafs, Johnson retired in 1988. He played in a total of 285 NHL games, scoring 3 goals and 24 assists.
