- MoO is the first game of the series. Its full name is Master of Orion and was released September 6, 1993. MoO is a 4x game.

- A MOO (MUD, object oriented) is a text-based online virtual reality system to which multiple users (players) are connected at the same time. The term MOO is used in two distinct, but related, senses. - Moos come in a variety of colors: the red Moos have no attacks and simply walk away, the green Moos have wings for arms to fly, and some Moos are shielded by silver, gold, or black armor. Although their population is widely spread apart, they seem to have only one leader, Heart Moo. This may be because they are so easygoing, as seen in their fighting style. They don't seem to be so bright either.
- MooMoo (often known as Moo) is a regular poster on the Message Zone. Hailing from Liverpool, and residing on the Isle of Man, the fan of Liverpool FC was once a moderator of the forums but stepped down after a short time. One of her claims to fame is appearing in the Speedlines of Sonic the Summer Special 2009, making her the only one to respond to a "Summer Memories" request. Her memory of Sonic the Comic involved reading it on the way to her family caravan on the weekends. She later felt stupid for being the only person to respond, but was "slightly happy" that she'd now featured in Speedlines.
