Freedom City was once the capital city of the proud democratic nation of Freedomtopia. Within the city are gleaming glass skyscrapers, buildings of old, rich culture and gleaming gloden beaches, famous for their 7* hotels. The city centre contains Freedom Square, a monument to global freedom, paying tribute to the Freedom Fighters of the Freedomtopia. The Presidential Palace, currently occupied by President Alex Free, is a gleaming tribute to the global struggle for freedom. Freedom City in all its glory> Image:Ak-realestate.jpg

- Described by Servalan as a "pestilential rathole", Freedom City was situated on a planet not far from the Federation's borders. It was famous for its gambling opportunities including the Big Wheel, and Avon said that "Space City pales by comparison". The planet had a breathable atmosphere, and was home to a species of reptile from the distilled venom of which pataki cakes were made. Chenie referred to Freedom City being run by Krantor. Blake went there in search of Docholli, as did Servalan and, independently, Travis.
- Population: 304,000 Breakdown: 48% Lunite, 20% Human, 12% Qua, 6% Vollistan, 3% Ungstiri, 3% Timonae, 8% Miscellaneous Settled by the genetically modified human crew of the crashed Seldom Trouble in 2718, and first encountered by the rest of the galaxy in 3000, this city on Deepcrest Island is the capital of New Luna. About six of the original crew were still surviving in 3006, and their descendands form a large proportion of the residents.

About six of the original crew were still surviving in 3006, and their descendands form a large proportion of the residents. A high majority of the city is twenty to thirty feet above the ground on tree platforms to protect against the biannual threat of Kulbati migration. It features a golden beach that is popular with tourists, a decent boating industry, and the former site of the Olympics.
