Synopsis
  • Gormagga Kraal attempts to destory all suns in the galaxy in an attempt ot power his photon cannons. Concerned that the human population will be destroyed if the sun of the Milky Way is absorbed, Kraal's enslaved scientist Dr. Sha-han flees to Earth with the Circlet of Power. Crash landing, he gives the circlet to aspiring comic book artist Ben Tucker as he dies. Sha-han's ghost reveals the powers of the circlet before causing Ben to fall asleep. On his way to school the next morning, Ben is attacked by two of Kraal's Robo-Droids, but changes into Solarman and defeats them. Trying to make it to school on time, Ben is attacked and captured by the reformed Robo-Droids. Taking Ben to Kraal's battle cruiser, the Robo-Droids are instructed to cut Ben's arm off to remove the circlet. Ben is saved by Lt. Altarra, a colleague of Sha-han, but she is killed in a shootout with the Robo-Droids. With the aid of a small robot, nick-named "Beepie" by Ben, Ben transforms into Solarman, and prevents Kraal from destroying the Sun. Kraal's cruiser is destoryed in the process, but he manages to flee in an escape pod, and vows revenge while Ben akwardly tries to talk with his crush Jenny.
