Just like its fellow techniques, Water Release: Azure Dragon Tail is a hard technique to master. It takes a lot of chakra control and power to execute it. This is because just like its fellow techniques, Azure Dragon Tail is believed to have been passed down from a tailed-beast-like creature known as the Azure Dragon or Seiryu.

  • Just like its fellow techniques, Water Release: Azure Dragon Tail is a hard technique to master. It takes a lot of chakra control and power to execute it. This is because just like its fellow techniques, Azure Dragon Tail is believed to have been passed down from a tailed-beast-like creature known as the Azure Dragon or Seiryu. First, the shinobi performs a series of unique hand signs. The hand signs looks a kind of similar to the Kuji-kiri except they seem draconic in a way. When forming the hand sign there is a lot more force behind it and the overall placement of the hands is slightly different. After the last sign, the shinobi extends their arm out in front of them and gathers a large quantity of chakra in their hand. With their arms extended, the shinobi releases the chakra from a select group of tenketsu located in the palm. The moment it is released the shinobi converts the chakra into a stream of water. The combination of careful Shape Transformation and precise chakra control allows the water to surge out toward the opponent in a spiral pattern so it forms a tornado of water that looks somewhat similar to a dragon's tail. The tornado of water is able hit foes with force equivalent to a dragon slamming its tail against someone. It can launch foes across vast distances and leave them with multiple bones from the immense pressure of the water. In addition, the user can alter the water's acidity, temperature, or give it other similar attributes to inflict additional damage. All in all, this is truly is a fearsome technique that inflict a great deal of damage it opponents and the surrounding area alike to the point that it can leave some foes and onlookers stunned in awe.
