- Barry a fait partie du S.W.A.T. de New York. Avant 1998, Barry était un aviateur dans l'US Air Force, servant dans la même unité que Chris Redfield, et tout deux devinrent de bons amis. Barry quitta par la suite l'Air Force et rejoignit les S.T.A.R.S., unité récemment formée, où il utilisa sa vaste connaissance en armes. Alors que Chris s’était fait renvoyer de l'Air Force et commençait à dériver, Barry le rencontra et réussit à le convaincre de rejoindre les S.T.A.R.S.
- Barry Burton is a character in the Resident Evil survival horror franchise. Barry, along with most of the characters who originally appeared in the first Resident Evil, is a member of S.T.A.R.S. and the "backup man" and weapons expert of Alpha Team.
