Chris Kempers (born Christiane Kempers) is a former German singer. She first attempted to represent her home country as a member of the group Rendezvous in the 1988 Contest but they only finished in 10th place in the national finals. Returning two years later with Daniel Kovac, they were chosen as the German representatives, this time finishing in 9th place. Following her Eurovision appearance, Kempers appeared in several stage musicals and worked briefly as a studio backing singer, but was unable to make a career breakthrough, and retired from the music industry soon thereafter.
