- David Jackson (born 15th July 1934 in Liverpool, died 25th July 2005 in London) appeared in Coronation Street in two roles: as Det Con Chadwick in May 1967 and then Mr Dean in June 1968. He also appeared in The Saint, The Avengers, The Sweeney, Space: 1999, Minder, Only Fools and Horses, Wyatt's Watchdogs, Edge of Darkness and Lovejoy but is best known as Gan, one of the original characters in the first two series of Blake's Seven. His film roles include Blood from the Mummy's Tomb and The Big Sleep.

- David Jackson wrote the episodes "Stone's War" and "The Afternoon Plane" (also directed both) and directed the episodes "French Twist" and "Walk-Alone" for the show Miami Vice.
- David Jackson (15 July 1934 - 25 July 2005) was a British actor best known for his role as Olag Gan in Blake's 7's first two seasons and as Detective Constable Braithwaite in Z Cars from 1972-1978. His other credits include The Saint, The Avengers, The Sweeney, Space: 1999, Minder, O nly Fools and Horses, Wyatt's Watchdogs, Edge of Darkness, Coronation Street and Lovejoy. In 2002, he provided his voice talent to the audio drama Sarah Jane Smith: Comeback, part of the Doctor Who audio spinoffs by Big Finish Productions. David was a science-fiction fan throughout his career and was happy to be associated with Blake's 7 years after the series ended. In 1988 he showed his considerable comic talent in playing the Vicar alongside Brian Wilde in six episodes of the BBC1 sitcom Wyatt's Watchdogs.
