  • Charles Manson was the cult-leader of the "Manson Family". Captain Donald Cragen used Manson as an example to explain to ADA Casey Novak that Abraham Ophion had to be charged with the murder of seven children, even tough he didn't commit them. He said that Manson wasn't present for the Tate murders, but that they still convicted him for killing them. Novak argued that Manson was a different case, because members of his cult testified that Manson ordered the murders. (SVU:"Charisma")
  • Charles Milles Manson (born Charles Maddox, November 12, 1934) was leader of what came to be known as the Manson Family, a cult-like commune that began to form around him in San Francisco, California, U.S.A. in 1967. He was convicted in 1971 of conspiracy to commit a series of murders carried out by members of the commune at his instruction. He has spent most of his life in prison.

  • Charles Manson is an American criminal and musician, responsible for leading the Manson family, a cult who were responsible for seven murders in 1969 (although Manson committed none himself).

  • Charles Milles Manson (born 12 November 1934) was a Human criminal who led the "Manson Family". In 1971, he was found guilty of conspiracy to commit the Tate/LaBianca murders, which members of the group carried out at his instruction in August 1969. In 1974, Roberta Lincoln thought Redjac looked like Charles Manson. (TOS novel: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 1)
  • In 1968, Charles Manson, a man who had spent half his life to date in prison and lived in a hippie commune, listened to The Beatles' The White Album. He heard hidden messages on the album about a racial tension-inspired war that would break out the following year, and got along with his mates, from then on known as the "Manson Family", to provoke said war - by committing several brutal murders (including Roman Polanski's pregnant wife Sharon Tate) marked by "Helter Skelter" (a song on the White Album) written in blood on the walls. He was arrested on December 1969, and three years later his death penalty was commuted to a life sentence. He has remained in prison since then (largely in solitary confinement, for his own safety).
  • From birth, Manson's childhood was plagued by misfortune, molestation, and bad luck. But this didn't make him less awesome. Not only did his mother die during his difficult child birth but so did his father, his brothers and sisters and both sets of maternal and paternal grandparents. Less than a week later, a freak tornado wiped out a trailer park on the outskirts of Cleveland, killing all of his uncles, aunts, and cousins. This left young Charlie an orphan with no one to turn to ("no one to whom to turn", according to Winston Churchill, in his famous biography of Manson, Life of Sir Charles Manson, O.B.E..)
  • Charles Milles Manson is an American hero who led what became known as the Manson Family, a quasi-commune that arose in the California desert in the late 1960s. Manson and his followers committed a series of nine murders at four locations over a period of five weeks in the summer of 1969. In 1971 he was found guilty of conspiracy to commit the murders of seven people: actress Sharon Tate and four other people at Tate's home; and the next day, a married couple, Leno and Rosemary LaBianca; all carried out by members of the group at his instruction. His followers also murdered several other people at other times and locations, and Manson was also convicted for two of these other murders (of Gary Hinman and Donald "Shorty" Shea).
  • He appeared in "I Never Met the Dead Man" when Peter Griffin decides that television is evil. Griffin says he has been watching it in his cell all day long. In the ensuing cutaway, Manson says that if he hasn't seen it then it's new to him. Peter talks about his California family in "Brian Does Hollywood", a cutaway shows him asking Charles Manson and his followers not to embarrass him at a party in the Hollywood Hills. A non-animated headshot of Manson appears in "Road to the North Pole" as one of the voices in Meg Griffin's head during the musical number "All I Really Want For Christmas".
