| - Tatin’s origins trace back to the mining world of Besin, within the outer rim territories of the galaxy. As a child, Tatin lived a life of luxury. His father managed one of the planet’s many casinos. During the famed assault on Cloud City, a large amount of civilian vessels attempted to flee the planet. Although several were stopped, boarded, and detained by the empire, The shuttle Tatin had found refugee on was able to escape.Lost In The Stars
The shuttle carrying Tatin was piloted by Captain Viro T. Valarie. Viro, having served as a pilot for over twenty years was capable or evading the Imperial Assault, and fled to Coruscant, where the Captain chose to retire. Having realized that Tatin was alone, Valarie adopted the boy. Although officially retired, Viro continued to smuggle weapons planet side, helping to fund a gang war. Viro stood alongside Tatin until the boy was of seven years old. Shortly after this point, the opposing gang invaded the Valarie Residence, killing Viro and stealing every blaster. This left Tatin with nothing but two vibro-knifes and a broken home.Training
With the death of Captain Valarie, Tatin found himself falling into the hands of the gang in which Viro acted as a supplier to. Baku, the gang leader, found this as a chance to have the boy become his son, having none of his own. Being the leader of one of the more famous gangs, Baku gave Tatin the best lessons in the use of blades. Those hired by Baku were Trandoshan hunters, each equivalent in ability to a skilled assassin. Initially, Tatin was taught how to conceal blades under his clothing, and operate day to day tasks without showing his weapons. Because of this, Tatin always wore clothing with at least one sleeve, and never wore shorts. At most, Tatin was trained how to use a wrist blade, but if caught using anything else, Tatin was physically punished. After months of this training, Tatin was finally taught how to wield a blade. Training in throwing knifes would follow after.Changing Times
By age fifteen, Tatin was ready for his first field test. The first target would be the man closest to him, Baku. The reason was so that Tatin would be freed of emotion, and free from outside influences. At age sixteen, Tatin proceeded with this, killing Baku with three throwing knifes to the chest, and impact from a wrist blade to the center of his skull. With the death of Baku, Tatin inherited a small fortune. But small wasn’t enough. Free from his past, and free from his teachers, Tatin found himself moving across Coruscant, taking freelance jobs.Opportunity Comes
Not even a year into Tatin’s freelance work did he retire. Almost immediately, Tatin’s connection to the force was heard. Tatin was lost, and looking for answers. Being only a blade to the plots of those whom employed him, Tatin didn’t know what to do. Initial, he did nothing but moved through his mind. Finally, Tatin found himself looking for training, leaving planet side as a refugee, heading to the lands of the Dark Jedi.
