It is heavily armed with point defence chainguns, 66 Space Sparrow missiles, and a Plasma turret mounted on the front of the craft, instead of the usual MAC cannon employed on other UNSC vechiles. it also carries 2 Marine companies, 5 Scorpion MBT's and 5 pelicans, as well as 2 Longswords for escort duties. However, combat ability against similar sized covenant craft is supermly low, and usually require an escort of other frigates or destroyers to prevent it from getting stuck out in the open by Covenant firgates and destroyers. However, against it's preferred target, singleships such as fighters and bombers, it excels - it is common doctrine for the lkarge vessals of the UNSC to have their backs covered by at least 2 of these frigates.It looks like a slightly larger bread-and-butter UNSC Frigate () Introduced to the UNSC fllet in 2590, the first vessals of the class, the Plains of Abraham and the Quebec, were grouped to the 189th Frigate Flottilla ( a unit within the UNSC 4th Battlegroup).
