- Once the necessary hand seals are done, a mass of lightning chakra emanates from the users body which then takes the form of a large bull. Because the Nandi is a creature made up of lightning chakra it is strong enough to withstand against other lightning based techniques. Once the bull creature is formed, it charges towards the opponent and impales them with its horns electrocuting the target upon contact. The offensive power behind the technique is tremendous, as it charges towards its intended target with great speed and incredible force. The shock from the technique is strong enough to render a target unconscious.
- In Hindu mythology, Nandi is a bull that is riden by the god Shiva. He is said to have been born from the right side of Vishnu. He also acts as the gatekeeper of Shiva and Parvati's abode. There are numerous temples dedicated solely to Nandi and stone idols of Nandi are usually present at temples venerating Shiva and Parvati. He is also a gatekeeper of Shiva's abode and one of his watchmen, along with Mahakala.
- She was one of the witches that Maris gave to Velok. Prior to arrival of Darius Malakai on Dathomir, Nandi was the Clan Mother of the Fire Mountain Clan and responsible for imprisoning Raynard Quinn before the fall of the old Republic. She had a son with Raynard Quinn called Krath and a daughter with an as yet unknown father called Silone who is now the sole known, uncaptured survivor of the invasion by Darius Malakai and Maris Eterna.
- Nandi was a former Companion who knew Inara Serra on Sihnon before they both left the planet. Nandi gave up her life as a Companion—having concluded that it was too restrictive—to become a brothel madam, overseeing common whores on one of the outer planets. When Petaline, one of her girls, became pregnant with a local landowner's son, she called Inara to see if the crew of Serenity could help against the baby's father, Rance Burgess. Nandi and Malcolm Reynolds had a brief relationship, which upset Inara deeply, before Nandi was killed during a gunfight with Burgess and his men, and Petaline took over the brothel.
- Nandi ist ein Afrikanisches Elefantenkuhkalb im Reid Park Zoo in Tucson (Arizona, USA). Nandi wurde am 20.08.2014 gegen 22:55 Uhr im Reid Park Zoo geboren. Innerhalb von 10 Minuten kam sie auf die Beine und begann in ihrer ersten Stunde bei ihrer Mutter zu trinken. Nandis Mutter Semba (Litsemba) war im Oktober 2012 vom Tucsoner Zuchtbullen Mabhulane (kurz: Mabu) gedeckt worden. Ihre Trächtigkeit wurde im September 2013 festgestellt. Für Semba ist Nandi der dritte Nachwuchs. Ihre beiden älteren Söhne Punga (Impunga) und Sundzu leben ebenfalls im Reid Park Zoo. Die eigentliche Geburt von Nandi dauerte etwa 20 Minuten. In der ersten Zeit entwickelte sich das Band zwischen Mutter und Tochter, ehe die übrige Elefantengruppe zu Semba und ihrer Tochter gelassen wurde.
