| - Flayer was a member of the Bandit faction during the events of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky.
- Special Part(s): [Flayer Variants] The Flayer is a legendary shotgun manufactured by Jakobs added in Claptastic Voyage. It has an increased chance to drop from viruses.
- Flayer (no real name known) is one of the students that Systemic leads in torturing 30 Tiger Guards to death by progressive dismemberment. The kid called Tagger had used his laser-edged rapiers to slice deli-meat pieces off Deke, rendering the shrieking man into very thin slices of human meat while commenting on how he needed to improve the frequency stability of the laser-blades. Then he fed the slices to the blob-girl, Flayer. The slices of human meat could be clearly seen through her translucent “skin” being digested and absorbed while Deke was forced to watch.
- Flayer is a passive worgen racial ability that increases skinning skill and allows faster skinning.
- Flayer is the third strongest weapon for Cid, providing 100 Attack, 100 Atk%, 20 Magic, and 6 unlinked materia slots with Normal growth. It can be obtained by scoring 5,000 or more points in the Wonder Square on Disc 2 or later, and sells for 15,000 gil.

(DS9 novel: Warpath) David Mack wrote: "Astute readers might notice a slight resemblance between the 'flayers' of Harkoum, and the Graboids of the Tremors movies". [1]
- The Flayer is a Normal ceremonial knife for the Witch Doctor in Diablo III. It requires character level 35 to be used.
- The Flayer, known by the ancient Necron name of Llandu'gor and as Llandu'gor the Flayer, was one of the mighty C'tan star gods who ruled over the Necrontyr and helped with the biotransference that made them into Necrons. In the last days of the War in Heaven, the Necron forces turned on their C'tan masters. Most were shattered, rent into shards which were separated and individually imprisoned. However, it is said that only the C'tan known as Llandu'gor was utterly destroyed. Rumoured to have met annihilation at the hands of the Maynarkh Dynasty, on the order of the Silent King, the Flayer's last act was to curse the Necron race in his final moments of existence. This curse, one of the varieties of creeping madness which plague the waking Necrons, is referred to as the Flayer Virus, and is
